Aristide Camburako ("Ari") is a Certified Executive Chef with a long and illustrious career as a restaurateur in Kansas City. He has owned and operated restaurants in the Kansas City area for the past thirty years including Ari's Off Broadway, the Kemper Arena Restaurant & Lounge, the Cock n Bull, and Ari's Pumpernicks. He was born in France of Greek parents and came to this country to share his heritage. With over 50 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Aristide will satisfy customer appetites with exquisite Greek dishes that are derived from generations of "Family Recipes". Ari has once again created a signature restaurant that will be operated by himself and his family. Sophia, Ari's wife, and Maria, his daughter, will be in the kitchen making wonderful pastries, "Glyka", and homemade specialty items on the menu. Don't forget all menu items are available for catering and carryout.

Ari has two sons that will carry on the day to day operations of Ari's Greek Restaurant. Aristo Camburako, CC, CFBE, is the General Manager. Aristo is a Certified Chef and a Certified Food and Beverage Executive. He has extensive management and culinary experience in many different food organizations including casinos, hotels, and restaurants. He brings over fifteen years of food and beverage experience to the partnership and earned his culinary degree from Johnson County Community College. Emmanuel Camburako has over twenty years of experience in the restaurant industry. His creative talent is displayed in the paintings around the dock area of the restaurant that create the Greek atmosphere and ambience. Emmanuel is the Assistant General Manager.

Ari's Greek Restaurant will be a great place to enjoy authentic Greek food in a fun atmosphere. Chef Ari and Chef Aristo will prepare a large repertoire of Hellenic dishes. Among the Greek appetizers are .Dolmades a la Sophia, dainty rolls of grape leaves wrapped around a filling of seasoned meat and rice served with tzatziki sauce, Keftedes, Greek meatballs, simmered in the family's special sauce, and don't forget about those tasty triangles of flaky filo dough filled with feta cheese or spinach. Perhaps the most unique appetizer is the Taramosalata, "Greek Caviar". This dip is a special family recipe and will be served with pita chips made fresh daily at the restaurant. For those who prefer some excitement with their food, try the Saganaki Flambe, Greek cheese served flaming at your table! And if you just can't decide, try a "Pikilia - A taste of Greece combination platter".

There is also a wide variety of daily homemade soups, salads, and wraps. Avgolemono, a chicken lemon rice soup thickened with eggs, is Dr. Hippocrates' recommended "Greek Penicillin" and will be offered daily.

You will have to return again and again to try all the wonderful Greek Cuisine. Apo Ton Fourno, "From the Oven" and Apo Tin Skara, "From the Grill" offer an ethnic experience that Chef Ari and Chef Aristo have prepared for you. These authentic Greek menu items, including Souvlaki (shish kabobs), roasted leg of lamb, hand cut steaks, seafood and pasta will be enjoyed by all. The Chefs want everyone to leave with a smile and a satisfied appetite.

Remember to save some room for dessert! The Baklava Sundae is truly a delicacy. There are many exquisite pastries which also can be purchased to go from the bakery display case in the front of the restaurant.
